There are currently two cats being produced. One which Perri has made has quite a few problems which James Tomkins is trying to fix, mainly that part of the mesh overlaps. James started to make another model but the legs are going to cause problems when rigging because of their position.
Because of these models the director of the project, Lily, has asked me to make another cat model to see which one is better so we can take that forward, adjust the model so that it is ready to rig. This is a bad idea because it means that we have wasted time but on the other hand it is a great idea because it means that trying to fix problems with the other models we can pick the best one so waste less time going forward.
I don't know how long it will take but I plan to have a basic finished mesh by the time we return after the Christmas break.
